I wish I woulda taken spanish 3 not 1!

I walked into class today and looked at what our teacher wrote on the board. I named every single thing off the board. Then I said wtf. Because I'm ready to kill myself every time I walk into this classroom, plus I have it MTWTH!

I took Spanish from 6-8 grades. I never got anything above a D in middle school. I could never learn, figure out how to conjugate the verbs, and I felt so stupid that I just never studied because I convinced myself I was horrible at it. Depressing really.

When high school began I took Spanish 1 over again as a freshman and a couple weeks into the class I learned how to conjugate verbs. It was amazing and I couldn't believe how foolish I'd been. But that also meant I had a very strong background. I thus took the beginning Spanish again in High school, Spanish 1 up to Spanish 5. Spanish 5 was college level though mind you we had a good program. So I did that come to college and take Spanish 2 instead of 1. Take that but get a C which is an even longer story I had a hellish time in Spanish class because my friend turned into an alcoholic and we blue carded late into the class and I missed a couple weeks of class and I feel behind hard. But I did well. I had to get a B to buy the credits for 1 here at college. So now I'm back in Spanish 1 learning what I did in middle school and again repeated again in high school, to now again in college. That makes me sad to. Spanish 3 here is review of Spanish 1+2 so its more review for me one way or another.:confused:

Ha ha! You wrote Spanish 11 times in that paragraph. Thought I'd just point that out. :p

I picked up last night for the first time in a few weeks.... its been such a dream, and I was in Spanish class (12) ;) when I wrote it.

What do you plan on doing with this language? You're going to college for it so I figure you have some plans for learning it. Just curious. :)

Just a minor.

I took Spanish 1 because, well, it sounded easy, and it was. There were like 20 of us in that class. The next year, I wasn't sure if I wanted to take Spanish 2, but then I found out that of the 20 people who took Spanish 1, only nine signed up for Spanish 2...and they were all girls. So, that convinced me, just me and nine girls? Sold! The following year, it was down to three girls and me. Four people in a class, that was mellow as hell. I would have considered Spanish 4, but the three girls bailed, so it would've just been me and the teacher, and that didn't sound fun. Heh. ;)

Hah, I'm in Spanish 3 in high school right now, and it ain't no fun. Two tests a week, one vocab, one grammar. I learned absolutely NOTHING in 1 and 2 because of the teacher i had for both. I wasn't planning on continuing spanish, so I didn't care...but then I learned the college that i want to go to requires 3 years, and 4 if you don't want to take a review course, so I was stuck with it. A lot of this is review I guess for most of the kids, but it sucks majorly for me.

Right now we're learning to distinguish Imperfect from Preterite. We're spending a whole week on it, hooray. (usually there's a test by the end of the week, we're actually taking it at the end of the second week)

As a freshman I took italian..Similar to spanish, but since I didnt have it for 384902384 years, I wasn't expected to know jack :D
