sex/flower question

I've got some indica plants. They are about a foot tall.

I'm wondering when I will see signs of sex.

Also, since they are at 1 ft., when should I start flowering if I have a 4 ft. tall cab?

Start 12/12 now I'd say, they'll grow quite a lot when you start flowering.

Once you turn the lights off 12hours a day about a week to ten days later you can start looking for flowers/balls.

if you only have 4 feet of space then you can leave it a couple more weeks but i'd turn them now. i've turned to 12/12 after only 4 weeks, plant was about half a foot and it turned out fine! like locomark said, about ten days into 12/12 although males will show you sooner.

They do indeed grow like monsters (I love that about them)

I am using a 150w HPS. Yeah. Tomorrow starts the 12/12. I guess it's time for new ferts too.
