Today's been pretty cool...

Hey

So i'm not working at the moment, and i'm not at school, so usually I spend my days chilling with friends, writing, having a jam with any mates that play guitar - the usual crap... But today I decided to stay in and chill out on my own..

So here I am, sitting at the PC, listening to some old chilled out music (Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Radiohead, that kind of thing), posting in a couple of threads, reading some jokes, and smoking a couple of joints of some not-too-bad hash..

Anyway, I just wanted to say that taking some time (an hour, a day, a week) to chill out on your own is actually pretty cool.. I mean, I said I was gonna spend less time with my mates, but I couldn't do it, lol, I can't not be around people.. But taking today away from it all (not that my life's exactly hectic at the moment, lol, but you know what I mean) has really cleared my head, and I feel content with life for the first time in a long time (apart from when i'm sitting at my drums)..

Maybe it's just the weed, but I don't think so.. So, well, yeah.. that's it

Me, too, since junior year of high school. Been wishing Eddie will one day pop out of the cd and tell me I'm the "one". Lol Hasn't worked since I was 17. :)

It's wierd.. I grew up listening to Pearl Jam, because my bro used to listen to them when he was 15/16 and I was about 6/7 (I think).. so now when i listen to them it brings back loads of memories that I dont actually remember, if that makes sense.. lol

Man, everyone that's spoken to me today has asked why i'm in such a good mood lol

really? it worked for me last night :confused: I had to break it to Ed that I like him...but not in "that" way. He was heartbroken. Oh well

It really is all in the attitude. I'm outta smoke , an not to spread my biznezz around town but its no secret I go to the jailhouse. The point being even though i am not thrilled I still think life is great and on the plus I can enjoy reading threads of others having a groove on. Now of course I was swept up by Janes Addiction so pearl jam was kinda too soft fer me , but great guitar licks came from taht band.

I had a lonely but good day today aswell, I work alone in a warehouse and I didn't have anything to do so I sat and read a book for 4 hour's while smoking joint's, fell asleep for 2, listened to the new green day album and at the end of the day I had to unload an artic load of mattresses lol, serve's me right for being such a lazy fucker the rest of the day eh.:D
