I only have one amp., and it's a Fender Priceton Chorus. It's 125W with 2 10inch speakers in there. When I used to play with my old band, I would turn that amp up to only 5 or 6 on the volume, and it didn't drown out beneath the other guitar player or drums, and our drummer was LOUD. There would be piles of sawdust next to his snare by the time practice ended. :p
Its the only amp I need. It's more than capable of handling a bar stage or club. I love it.

I know what you mean Nochowder, the drummer in my old band was fucking loud, he played a Mapex Orion... Infact, for about a year or two we was the loudest band we knew of in our county. We did so many gigs were we didnt even need the PA system cos we was so loud.
I only ever had to turn my ashdown 700 to 3 for practises, and if we was using a PA it'd only be on 2. although at the bigger gigs i had it up to 8.
But then we split up, although recently we had another practise, we might be doing a send off gig and it was so loud we kept having to have tea breaks... done my ears in for 3 days lol!!
