Is this a MH bulb...its off my aquarium..please help :)

I don't think so. Ive never heard of a 15 watt mh. lowest ive seen was 150. also they require a heavy ballast to work. and i didn't see one in the pics. to me it looks like a regular incadescent made for giving low levels of light to aquarium plants that are underwater and need much light. sorry

already have a 400 watt metal halide that i got off of ebay for 17 bucks plus 15 shipping. the heat from that thing is horrible.

I believe young city is right although your picture is pretty blurry. Generally, HPS bulbs are quite a bit longer while Metal Hailide is short and fat

yeah i didnt think it was a MH jsut cuz i saw no ballast but i figured id ask anyways...i think either today or next week im gonna go buy a regent security light from lowes, 52bucks and 70watt HPS because i found this link
