just so you'll know..
The following may or may not work but this is what i've heard from some pretty reliable sources. Most companies that offer "feminized " seed are in all likelyhood merely soaking the seeds in colchicine.Colchicine is a plant derivitive that comes from the bulb or tuber whichever the case may be ,of the Autumn or Winter Crocus.Seeds that have been treated with colchicine usually have about an 80% female germination rate if my information is correct.
i personally do not know for sure if this method works everytime ,but on my first go ,my female germination rate was exactly 75%.my second try will be coming soon and i'll let you know how it goes.by the way ,colchicine is a very common treatment for people with gout.crushing a couple of pills in a small ammount of water then soaking your seeds in that water for about 24 hrs and then transferring them to your wet towels or the grow medium of your choice to finish the sprouting process is the method that i used and it seemed to work.
