A logical theory...

but...this is my theory on how THC effects your brain...its like an analogy...

here it goes...

as I was sitting around my computer pondering one day (while high) I realized that....every little thing, every object, ever situation, every emotion, every issue is looked at from a totally different perspective while high...(at least for me)...and they are not illogical perspectives, they make total sense. So this concept lead me to believe that...

the first time you smoke...im sure you all have noticed that you do not think deeply...new ideas are not opened to you the first couple times you get high....you dont think about issues or conflicts or anything u just try to focus on the actual high. So my point is!!!.....


...When you are high, it is like you have a whole new brain....it is like you are an infant the first time you smoke....let me try to rephrase

A new smoker...is just like a new born baby....they both start out with little knowledge of how their brain works and also little knowledge of surroundings and any other things....

therefore as the infant grows (or the smoker starts smoking more and more)
they will learn how the brain works as it develops ideas about the enivromen and everything around them....so what im trying to say is...as an individual smokes more and more marijuana...they are getting used to the mindset of being high and actually learning and thinking in depth about a lot more things which is why smoking opens ur mind.

I was banned from the Channel 4 website for suggesting that everybody should smoke weed for a year when they get to the age of 18.
Channel 4 were not too happy about that...something about advocating drug use and corrupting influencial minds.

But, my reasoning behind my 'proposal' was because I truely believe that there are parts of our neuralogical processing that opens up. Psychoactive drugs will do that, I guess.
Since smoking weed/dope my mind has expanded, and I am able to embrace/understand new views on life.
However, I have always been a deep-thinker. I have always been able to view things from different perspectives, and adapt the knowledge that I do have to help me understand things that I didn't previously understand.

It is reasonable to expect that our thinking can be changed by using drugs.
These changes are not, unfortunately, always for the good.
PCP and Heroin, for example, produce very different thought processes to grass.

I remember when I took my first ecstacy pill.
My mate, who gave me the pill, said that my life would change for ever.
He was right.
But, I'm not totally sure that it was for the best.
Since taking that pill, and copious other things, and continual use of cannabis-based products, my view of the world has become more cynical.

I'm kinda glad that my views have changed, because I believe that my view has been changed for the better, ie, I am more accepting of people, I am more understanding of why things happen (whether I like those things or not), and my attitude is calmer.

But ignorance was bliss.

As with all things, there is a equal and opposite benefit.

Once your eyes have been opened, it is hard, nigh impossible, to close them again.

I sometimes wish I was like most of the rest of the population; going to a job I hate so that I can buy loads of things that I don't need, ignorant of the manipulation that we are all subjected to, and happy to get shit dumped on me from every height imaginable.

It was because I always championed the 'responsible' use of cannabis on the premise that you never hear of tokers smashing up the planet etc...
They took umbrage at that lol

I suffered major abuse from some of the board members, saying that I was a drug pusher and that I should be hunted down and arrested so that I didn't hang around schools and stuff.
geez.

Never mind, it was only a small minority, and oddly took place when the schools were on holiday, so I guess you have to wonder at Channel 4's ability to moderate their site properly, init.

I think I can identify with that theory....I think you have put it all into words pretty well. For me, and I'm not a heavy toker...mostly just small hits to level me off....I like the perspective that I have when I am high...always has been this way and with today's technology and techniques, growing your own is a snap....
