Video: US 'head shot' kills British camera man
Howdy pisshead,
Such are the dangers of a war that's being fought by enemy combatants who dress in civilian clothes and hide behind the skirts of women and girls,if the press doesn't want to git shot at,they best wear a bright orange vest or something, that makes it clear, that they aren't in fact,an enemy combatant, using the guise of a 'camera-man' to attack our troops with..don't ya reckon ?
Have a good one ...

well shit! we better give up our sovereignty to a world government, turn in our guns and be slaves then! so iraq can have freedom!
how about this, does this count too?
Those who cite the threat of car bombs as the necessity which mandates this should recall the incident where British SAS personnel were caught dressed up as Arabs with fake wigs and garb attacking a police station.
the guise of a camera man? yeah, i'm sure there are thousands of iraqis dressed up as british cameramen with 20 thousand dollar television cameras around. and given the history of journalists being killed, which you aren't even going to look at anyway, it doesn't seem likely it was a terrorist with a tv camera.
i can tell the difference between a tv camera and a machine gun or a rocket launcher? perhaps you think a rocket could have come out of that tv camera, so you had to blow his head off?
how do you think people here would react to this level of freedom? iraq is a free country now, right? or does that freedom come with some restrictions?

lol total BS.
Watch the Epidose, they say the shots to the Body came from Iraqis' yet the SINGLE shot to the head they say came from an American Gun. How do they come to that conclusion? Also, just cause a Car is Marked TV doesnt mean that the people in the car are TV Reporters...remembers...HAMAS uses cars marked UN/Red Cross all the time to transport their troops

I can't believe I'm saying this.... but I actually agree with Torog. While I may be against the fact that we are in Iraq in the first place, I do support our troops and have a hard time finding them at fault here. I don't know how many times I see footage of some reporter or cameraman, running around during a battle like they think they're bullet proff, and think to myself "what an idiot". I really amazed more of them aren't dropping like flies. If they want that action footage they gotta accept the fact that they may just have to die for it.
The reporter died in crossfire. That means he was right in between our guys and the Iraqi's who were trying to kill each other. No matter how tough or well trained our soldiers are, they are human. When your in the middle of a battle, and other people are actively trying to kill you, you tend to shoot first and ask questions later. It's called self preservation and it's instinctual.

Howdy Fengzi,
Wow ! It is hard to believe that ya agree with me,lol, but I also believe that yer reply,is highly ageeable to me too,and I think that it should be pointed out, that if a camera-man interferes with a soldier's mission or compromises his safety and that of his fellow soldier's,that he ain't got much business being there and they're dang lucky we give em so much rope to hang their selves with, maybe a suspension of the press being there,is called for ?
Pisshead : As long as the situation there remains dangerous and we're under attack from unknown elements, then these sorts of incidents will continue to happen..maybe the camera-man should have called for a commercial break,so he could haul his behind out of the way ?
