Savin Private Ryan/War movies
On HBO tonight was Saving Private Ryan. IMO the best god damn war movie ever made. Who else loves to watch our history of war and terror? Not to put it in a good way though.
I loved watchin Band of Brothers, behind enemy lines, that sort of shit. Who else likes to watch these? Even though I get heart broken and yes, ill admit ill shed a tear here and there it just amazes me how shit like that has happened. And how I would always react in a situation like that.
I dunno I just hada share and wondered what your thoughts/comments were. Thanks-
Oh, and Tom Hanks is my hero. Id really like to meet him in real life about any movie he's done. This movie, Band of Brothers, Forrest Gump, Catch me if You Can. Etc.

i like some of the old black and white world war 2 movies like Sahara and Snipers Ridge. but saving private ryan and behind enemy lines are great too.

Not particulary big into war movies, but Band of Brothers just draws you in. Very moving, especially the episode when Easy Company was in Bastoine.

''Our history of war and terror'' LMFAO, you do realise a film is a FILM, and in this case completely fucking fabricated. There is nothing accurate about the film you mention except the uniforms. I know that you didn't intentionally go out of your way to make such an inaccurate statement so its really no biggie I'd just thought I'd catch you out on that.

Fabricated? I think not ive seen more shows on the history channel than is good for me and seen hours and hours of this shit about WW2 that you say is 'Fabricated'. There is a shitload that is accurate about this film. Down to the guns, language, placements, cities and the bloodshed that did occur on D-Day. So go fuck yourself.
Yea the 'Mission' finding the Private Ryan was fabricated but it kept its historic value on what really happened.
