I have been reading the forums for about a day , and decided I should registar .
My first post has to concern the use of tobacco when rolling a joint . Why ?
Seems like it would affect the taste of the bud .
Sorry if this is a odd question , but I have lived in BC for my whole life , and smoke pot regularly and have never heard of this .

I've never had one, but I'm sure that some flavored tobacco would be great with some Reefer.

I dunno, persoanlly im not a fan of joints. but when thats all u can get then whatever.
But whenever i do make joints i skip tobacco, mostly cuz i dont have any cigs on me.
and i think it might have something to do with burning
I do know that when I smoke weed out of my Hookah I put a small layer of tobacco in the bottom of and right on top of the bowl. Three Reasons: The tobacco is sticky and keeps the bud from falling through the holes in the bottom of the bowl. Since its wet tobacco (hookah tobacco is marinated in flavors and molassas/glycerin) it makes the weed burn alot slower so you can light up and enjoy for a much longer time than just letting it all burn up under the charcoal. And lastly, it tastes realy good, and sometimes the nicotine can change the way the high feels. Kinda why some people I smoke with will smoke a Black n' Mild or a cigarette afterwards. As for tobacco in a joint, maybe it makes the high different, dunno never tried it that way. When I get good strains of bud nothing is better than smoking a straight joint of it or smoking it a glass piece... Ahh pure KB, nothing like it!
So wait, would like opening a cig and putting i layer in my bowl make it burn slower? or do u mean actual tobacco?
It's mostly a U.K. thing from my understanding of it. No one I know would ever put baccy in there joints but I do know kids from the U.K. that think I'm an idiot for not. You can use any type of tabacco you want, what ever you feel like smoking with your pot i guess. hey piercedpunkonpot, that sounds awsome, I've always wanted to smoke a hooka.
i enjoy them together for two reasons:
- i can have a big joint out of tabacco and weed, where most the time i would roll a small one with just ganj
- i like the taste of both of them together (im a smoker tho keep that in mind)
Some do it to help it burn evenly or slower, but if you roll a joint properly it shouldn't be an issue. My buddy uses tobacco from Camels, not a fan really, despite bein' a smoker. Don't like to mix the two, especially blunts. Bleh.
with good bud you dont always want to put as much in a joint as most peoples minimum requirements to roll a joint so tobacco can fill in the space and make it fatter then a cigarette..
I don't know why you'd want to fuck up the wonderful taste of weed with that awful nauseating crap.
