An Alzheimer's question.......

OK, we all have seen the article how pot may cure or prevent Alzheimer's disease. I'm 59- the age where things like this study become more important. My question is "Do hippies get Alzheimer's?" :stoned: None of the older pot smokers that I know of have any symptoms that I can see. I am curious if any of the other older stoners (or young un's with toking parents or grandparents) have made the same observation? It would make an interesting study- I might just print and pass the posts on to my cannabis doctor (I'm in California and am a legal MMJ user). :D

Hippies get alzheimers you just can't tell cause they already have no short term memory lol. But yeah, alzheimers is a sad disease man, I saw my granmother go through it, its hard to watch. Pot is the shit so it may cure it. If not, at least it makes it suck less.

Tobacco helps prevent alzheimers or at least it helps you keep your mind into old age. My mum is a biochemist and she told me, I dunno how the science works but it does. So if you smoke js then ur set.

i dunno about Alzhiemers... but i remember reading something in FreeWeed magazine, about an elderly woman with MS, she didnt smoke but she grew weed and made weed brownies and took it that way, u would never have thought she had MS... until she got busted for growing and whilst in the cells waiting for a court date her symptoms grew worse and worse, until eventually they had to release her and let her off without charge (i think anyway, she may have been fined or something but i cant remember and i dunno where the magazine is now)... if i find the mag i'll type up the article here for ya's :D

Same here, its a horrible disease to watch a loved one go through. Some days he didnt even now who my nan was (his wife). If mj can help, it bloody well should be used!
