Pot Etiquette

For all the knewer smokers, I think it would be a good idea to let them know some of the important rules. This would insure that they don't look stupid while smoking with a more exprienced smoker and prevent embarressment. You guys could write down some rules that you think are important.

1. Never beg to get high, you don't want to look like a fiend. Also hitting a cashed bowl after someone told you it was cashed does not make you look like a big time smoker, just makes you look stupid.

Never steal someone elses herb!:mad:

dont slobber on the damn blunt
dont lick the piece
dont dog on someone elses weed
dont smoke and then dip out right afterwards
dont sit with the blunt forever, but dont bitch about it cuz thats annoying
assimilate yourself to your situation, dont be a bitch if everyone is silly and laughy, dont be crazy and laughy if everyone else isnt...u know
dont get all sketched out and if u do then dont really act like it
help someone out when youre high...if you got an extra buck grab your friend some munchies or somethin to drink
dont bitch about the quality of someone's weed, thats so fucking rude
always remember to smoke someone up after they do it to you or offer them some money, most people dont take the money but still
dont walk out the room with the blunt or the pipe
dont fuck up rotation
dont spill bongwater
have fun

oh yeah and dont bitch about the music if someone smokes you up. if u wanna change the music ask if its cool

pass it to the left, always

dont freak out if any of the above goes wrong
i hate that shit like i smoked with this kid a few times and id be blazzed pass the pipe the wrong way and he'd flip and yell for like an hour, even though it was my weed and my pipe but shit happens.

I'd like to add to this one.

If someone smokes you up, either return the favor, give some money, or give them something in return. For example my friend went out of his way to get me high the other night (well I should say morning, 2:30 in the morning, he had work at 8), so I gave him a mix cd of a whole bunch of Psychedelic bands he's never heard before. I'm still going to smoke him up at some point in the future though, even though that cd was fucking mind blowing as hell, as it just feels right to do so.

as for other rules:

Don't be an asshole.

I can't think of any others.

If you side track a blunt, fix it, don't pass it to the next person to fix.

i love threads like this.

basically just common sence. use social judgement. smoking marijuana is an art and everyone does it differently. if your smoking with someone for the first time, adapt yourself to the situation and dont make yourself look like a smartass or dumbfuck.

follow the simple rules, dont niga lip, dont spill the bong, return the favor of packing a bowl. etc. common sence.
