i just got a bunch of purple weed, and my friend that i got it from says its from genetics, but i smoked some with one of my friends and he says that purple weed only means it was cold towards the end of the grow and that there is no genetics involved with purple weed. i always thought purple was a phenotype for the cannabis plant. i need some truth!
Right, yes you can get many strains of weed that are geneticly purple. BUT, if the temps are very cold during flowering it'll turn the buds purple.
Idiot dealers do this so they can jack up the price, so if your buying its hard to tell weather your actually smoking purple.
The only way to really tell if grow it yourself or by from a club.

Yes, as long as its genuine purple weed and not done by temperate change.
im sure you already knew that before reading mine:thumbsup: i was told that once,it is so true now,,i could of made my grow purple no matter what as long as weather changed,and i can see how dealers can do that now,,and as for high,im sure it stays or even loses maybe thc,,soon as i harvest my newly made purple i will test it to see if same tree as before,but now weather has made em purpleQuote:

clubs here have been known to tell a yarn or 2 on there weed,as i have seen so many dif colored named weeds with purple in em,,gotta wonder sometimes,as i even smoked some,,except for that one time i got GDP,,taste and smell and effect was great(one time i said),clubs have to take word of dealer(person to sell to clubs legel)hahahahaQuote:

just last night my friend brought over some club-titled Granddaddy Purple Kush.
Wasn't purple, but it was one incredible night.
I love waking up after one of those kinda nights, and feeling all burnt out and just... chilling. And then finding enough spilled weed on the ground for a personal session later...
