being ripped off -- sucks doesn't it?

last week i went to venice beach to try and find a bit of weed. i believe i got ripped off, not just in what i paid versus what i got, but it wasn't very good at all. i barely feel any sort of high and it burns the hell out of my throat, like i'm just smoking paper or something. i'm slightly new to smoking and to finding it on my own, so i wasn't sure how to handle it -- therefore, i just let it go. i don't think i'll go back, so it will be awhile until i find a way to get my hands on some more. i saw a guy in our apartment building who had a baggie coming out of his pocket about a month ago, but i have yet to ask him because i never see him anymore. i'd feel sort of ashamed just knocking on a stranger's door asking if he knows where i could get some pot, hehe.

you live and you learn, i guess. any good stories dealing with being ripped off?

no good stories, but some pretty bad ones. this muthaf*cka laced my weed with crack once and i went back and beat the holy hell out of this 6'5 250+ analy regurgitated cockrocket.

One time I was trying to buy weed off this guy I didn't know. He whipped out a glock and held it to my head and took my wallet. Bad times.

i didn't know the guy i bought from either, but i don't know anyone who smokes out here. i didn't get mugged, but still wasn't happy with what i got off of the guy at the beach. i didn't even get high and my throat hurts -- spent $60.

i'm sorry to hear about the glock and all. that would be just awful!

All the more reason why we need legalization and regulation, anything traded on the black market gets covered in dirt.

dude this whole lacing talk is kinda scary, if my shit gets laced with anything, i'll fucking beat the shit out of whomever dealt it to me.

I had that almost happen. I didnt know the dude and he didnt trust me... Anyways not a fun time.

Wasn't a gun in my case, was 2 guys w/ bats, and one w/ a knife. My buddy got his hand cut open pretty bad trying to snatch our cash back....

Yeah, I got ripped off $40 for shrooms once. My buddy said he had known these 2 guys for like, 3 yrs, and it turns out he had just met them, so I trusted the guy, he gave me his word. We give him $90 between the 2 of us, and I mean, these guys out on a good show. Talking on the cellphone when no one was there, telling us they will be right back, that it's just up the hill. Those guys should have won a prize for best acting, oh wait, they did, our $90! :p

Long story short, they never came back and I never saw them again.

I've been cut short of bags before though. When I first moved here I met a buddy through a pal at HS. Turns out this dealer was into blow and junk. I remeber these bags too. For $40 an "1/8", I got rolled up pieces of green buds. They looked like they have been passed through a million hands and they were so compressed. They looked like little weed turds if weed could shit. :p I know they were only a couple of g's, but it's all I could get at the time.

He then ripped me off $40 for an 1/8. He said he got pulled over the cops with crack and everything was taken away. I saw him about a month afterwards by his place, and he offered me a new bag, it was just upstairs. He was with some sketchy looking folks, so I said maybe later. I never saw him again since.

Well atleast you got product. I've been ripped off for $120 worth or shrooms. I knew they were fake after the guy took off after getting my money. They were supermarket mushrooms dried up and when rolled in cellophane they look like dried shrooms. FUCK YOU ENDO JAY!!! lying bastard!
