can you use

I know you can't use Mogul base HPS bulbs without having a special ballast and setup. But what about a medium base 125 watt HPS or MH bulb on a regular socket? Is that possible?

See, I went to the Home Depot. I saw the regular GIANT mogul bulbs and then I found (to my surprise)the medium bulbs too. I opened a box of the medium ones and they seemed to have fit just fine into the regular size sockets (ie - a socket you just plug a regular light into).

Will this work at all?
