I think I have Cannabis Phycosis?

Well, I have been smoking for around 4 years now. During those four years, I would usually only smoke on weekends, and never during the week. Over this last summer however, I started to smoke everyday. It was great for a while, until I started to get sum side-effects. Have any of you ever have that hazy feeling the next day after smoking, like you are doing somthing, but not really thinking about it, or you feel kinda disconected from reality, but you still can function properly? Well I started to get that big time during the last part of the summer. I stopped for a week, but the shit never really went away? I kept buying bags and smoking them, thinking I will be allright. I have officially stopped smoking for a couple of months to let my body reuturn to normal, but its nearly impossible with all this homegrown dank floating around!:p I still have that hazy feeling and it never seems to go away. It doesnt effect my learning at all because I am a Junior in highschool, and I am doing just fine in my calculas/ honors classes.

I hope somone can relate to what I got, and could give me advice as to how to return to my normal self? Maybe take a couple months off from smoking that mighty fine herb?

It sounds like cannabis just may not be the drug for you. Most people just get high and have a good time, but there are always those with weired reactions, like my mom and sister who get freezing cold and depressed when they smoke (hence why they don't). However, I used to feel kind of "off" the day after smoking as well, making little mistakes and the such all over the place. But once my tolerance got way up I don't find it's affecting me at all the next day anymore, and I'm still going through college quite successfully. Do you really have an intense psychadelic high when you smoke? I used to for the first year and that's when it was impairing.

Depends what my tolerance is, and what type of bud I'm smoking I geusse. Like I said, I really did not have any problems for quite some time before this summer. Usually when I smoke I don't get a freak out high at all. I get either a very nice body buzz/ couchlock if I smoke a Indica strain, or a uplifiting laugh my ass off type of high if I smoke a fluffy stativa strain. I never get wierd reactions from smoking bud so?

also u display no symtoms of cannabis phycosis, no day light hallucinations, do u drift in and out of reality? do u know whats real and whats not? do u find your self bein overwhelmed with thought in your head and voices? NO exactly... what it is, is the goverment cant stop drugs so they make up lies to get paranoid pot smokers even more paranoid... u start to believe their lies and create ur own symptoms... there lies are the placebo.

try taking: ST JOHNS WORT or 5-HTP to improve concentraion look them up on the net and buy them. Seriously :-)

Robert I know exactly what you are talkin about! What is reality anyways?? I dont want to climb into a huge discussion about that, but the only symptoms I have is that I happen to ZONE out a little to much, with no voices or nothing. You guys's advice is great, I'm going to lay off until I am fully grown, then I can grow my own at my own house and have a nice life. I will never give into gov. propoganda, because I already know why tobacco, alcohol, pharamcutical, and other industrys fear the great herb:thumbsup:
