Depends. Does it look "smaller" on the end where you would normally screw it into the single socket? Post a picture if you have one. Thx.

no they are regular size but im juts wondering is 2 light to one socket too much energy or something?
No. It will be fine. That's why they make them that way. ;) What u gonna use? CFLs?

The fixture is rated for a certain amount of electricity it would say directly inside the socket.
The "connector" you have that will allow two bulbs in one socket is also rated for a specific amount of energy.. as long as you are not over powering the fixture, you'll be fine.
so a 150 watt socket cant hold 2 23watt cfls = 100watt incandescent?
Those 23w cfls use 23 watts each. The rating on the fixture is for the amount of actual electricity not the brightness of the light. 6 of those cfls don't even come to 150w so it will be fine:thumbsup:
