Using Floro's with HIDs
Considering the other thread was dieing.. I made a new one.. This is just my set up with a small 20 watt floro cool white tube on the side.. Sometime Im getting a bigger say 125 watt or a MH.. but right now I just put this one here cause the HPS is on 18/6 for heat reasons... this one is on all the time.

I'd find a way to mount that fluro a few inches up. It looks like your plants are just starting their first set of actual leaves (not cotyledon, the lil' round ones), so the more light they get right now, the better. A second fluro opposite the first would help throw more light, especially if the one you have on there is only 20w.
I've had a lot of success with grow boxes in the past using a 100w HPS and four 75w fluro grow tubes mounted to the corners of the box. You can get them at Home Depot for pretty cheap, and they help balance out your light spectrum, since HPS's are so red.
If you're having heat problems, install a fan, just about any fan will do, as long as it moves air. If smell is an issue, there are lots of ways to deal with that problem. DIY charcoal filters are cheap and effective.
Hope any of this helps, I haven't read your early thread that you mentioned, so if any of this is redundant or useless, tough shit :D

having a fan pointed down is great for strengthening your stems and moving air around, but you need a vent fan too, get some of that hot air out of your space and let your girls breathe a little.

I know I need a vent fan.. but for a good one, there like 150 bucks, usually more, I have to keep the light in the closet, and Im not really sure how to go about installing a vent fan, nice article about dry ice though, lonerstoner, might try that. anyway.. what would be the best way to get a ductfan hooked up using what I have around the house?
Oh yeah, everytime Im at home.. I open the door.. it has to be aired out.. and I try to keep it open all the time Im here.
The advice is really REALLY appreciated.. thanks
