Whoa! That was a fuckin trip!

hi all,

I just have to tell you all what just happened a mere 2 min ago.

I have a tree in my backyard that grows small, red berries, that the birds eat. After they eat a few, they get in a somewhat drunken state, and they fly rather eratically. Well, one just flew into my window, hard, really hard. I looked down and I see the poor buggers wing is bent the other direction, so I went outside to check him out, and it was for sure broken and no way it could fly again. I grab a towel, wrap him up in it, and it looked like his eyes were glazing over, as if he was slowly dying.

I couldn't let the poor thing suffer, so I grabbed a bucket filled with water to put the bird out of its misery. As soon as i put the birds head into the bucket, it flew right out my hand and landed on the ground. He didn't fly away right away, but his wing looked fine and didn't look broken anymore. A few minutes on the ground, so I decide to at least put him in a tree so the local cats don't get him. I pick him up, and he flies away, far, far away.

I almost killed a bird. :p It was a trip and a half and I just had to share. :D

maybe you should eat some of those berries and see what happens, eh?

Well I would die, as they are poisonous, eh. ;)

you wouldnt die... you would just get .. a bit sick? :D
