Restarting, need soil Help
I have to restart my grow, because I had to have some work done on the inside of my house and didn't have anywhere to hide the plants :(
So I figure after the work is done, I'll invest some real time and money into it to insure I get a quality grow. So the first step, I guess, would be the soil. The soil I have right now is a generic potting soil from walmart, but I accidently overfertilized it with fertilizer designed for acid-loving plants (which had an adverse effect on the plants I was growing).
What can I do to fix the soil I have right now, and what sort of mixture would be ideal?

Well,
My prefered soil is Promix. In your case, I would flush the soil several times with Ph neutral or spring water to remove the excess fertilizer. There you have but what do I know?

if all you did was add nutes by accident (powerder or liquid form) simply pour about 2 gallons of water through it and it will be clean again.
dont do this while seedlings are in the dirt you will kill them just do this to the soil if you didnt plant yet

thanks guys
i'll do as you say, i haven't planted yet (don't have any seeds)
outside of the basic potting soil, should i mix it with perlite or anything? What mixture would you recommend?

I like to use a lot of perlite, up to 50% of the total volume, and composted manure with leaf humus. It's a gentle and pH balanced fertlizer.
