outdoor growing question w/pics
Well my poor little plant is finally budding like a trooper. Lately it's been getting below freezing at night, but the day time highs are still around 65. I bring her in everynight and then put her back outside in the morinings.
My question is, how cold can the day time temps be before she will stop growing?
I plan on finishing her off on 4 cfl's if I need to, Also by looking at the buds any idea how long until harvest time?
Thanks again for any help

Hard to answer your questions coz a lot of it's down to the strain your growing, some strains will perform better at lower temps than others and some strains take longer to flower. Personally i wouldn't want my temps getting any lower than 65, I think at that most strains growth will slow. As for how long it's got left I'd guess around 5 or 6 weeks.

generally they go dormant when temps drop below 50f over several days but it won't affect their ripening process until hit by a hard freeze (below 28f), which usually kills em...that's the latest you want to wait but a freeze won't hurt them if harvested soon afterwards...so might as well let them go as far as you can or as far as needed and maximize that crop! you're still a few weeks away...
i've found one good thing about taking them into the frost days is they tend to be easier to regenerate if taken immediately after a hard frost, before much leaf damage can be done (it's a fine line there)...but it's just a personal observation.

I've got one in the same situation. no pics yet, but soon. It's getting cold here and cnow soon. i've got a different strand and seems very sturdy. started with a few seeds in a bucket w/mirace grow soil. there heardy plants and i think you should let it go as long as it's not freezing,
