I live in a dorm and can't use an oven to bake weed. I have an automatic coffee maker in my room. If I put some butter and weed in the glass container on the coffee jar and put that on the hot plate of the coffee maker, will that melt the butter and extract the THC efficiently to make cannabutter?
yes it sounds like it will work. make sure you have the burner on low to medium-low heat or else that will ruin it. however, I think smell will be a big problem when cooking cannabutter.
i have tried that effort in the past and it did not work that great for me the heat melted the butter but i do not think that it efficientlly removed the thc from the bud i have also figured out that it is pretty much a waste of time to make budder why not just dump the buds in the actually shit u r cooking it works the exact same

You can extract more of the thc when cooking with butter rather than just throwing it in, plus you don't have to eat the green
I'm pretty sure it has to simmer for 15 or so minuites, and it would reek hardcore.
