Ever heard of this?

Ok so once i was at a friends house, and we were bout to smoke until he showed me this little container he had. He opened it and inside was like a bunch of white powder...anyways, what it was was the resin off a bunch of buds. He said that this guy he knows takes buds and puts them on a rock tumbler or something and collects all the resin that comes off. So anyways we took it and mixed alot of it into this blunt we made. Man was I in heaven after that, but anyways, anyone ever heard of doing this?

its called kief. It's the little trichomes (crystals) on the weed that have fallen off in the rock tumbler... unless he put coke in ur blunt..

I just wanna get a little more technical here.

What you're actually collecting off of the plant are called trichomes. They look like little golf balls sitting on a T. Anyways, they contain a higher concentration of THC, but they also scratch up your throat a lot more, which I'm sure you noticed.

They sell little grinders that have a keef catcher in it. I think you should buy one. I did, and it's pretty freaking incredible. I've been using it for almost a year now, I'd never turn back.

If your thinking about getting a grinder I recommend a three peice. It contains the shredder itself, a layer of holes to filter the small peices, and a resin catcher where you can pack the resin together to make hash (if your buds are sticky enough).:D

That's exactly the one I was talking about. Except mine has a fourth extra compartment for crappy storage. Still a nice grinder though.
