OK i'm gonna go for it!!

Ok today a friend came down by my work today (his dad's the factory manager), anyways he's a DJ... a rather successfull DJ, he's on the radio all the time (in the UK anyway) with his music, doin interviews and stuff, flies off to france tomorro too, then cardiff, then london lol... you may have heard of him if your into the club/dance scene, he's on quite a few clubland mix albums, and he's gonna be speakin on some music channel (Mtv i think) if you have sky (I'll try find his web page as i forgot to ask him what it was lol)...

well anyways it got me to thinkin, i know i may not be the most talented musician/singer, but i'm gonna give it a shot, i have a couple of my own songs and i know a couple people with recording capabilities (more proffesional than my own lo-tech methods) so i'm gonna get in contact with them and arrange a recording session, get a few cd's made up and send em off to some radio stations and record companies, offer to play some bars for free when i have enough tunes for a decent length gig, and get some net coverage too... worst that could happen is they could say i'm crap, which i really don't care about.

I was gonna wait for the rest of my band to start practising again, but i'm through waiting, so i'll just go solo...

thanx guys, good job i decided to do this too cuz as of next friday, i will be jobless (again)... :(

but the universe works in mysterious ways, at a party last night, i met someone who also plays guitar and drums, well he asked me if i was willing to start another band with him :) (which reminds me, i must call him today :rolleyes:
