How I see the world

I believe that each person must see the light their own way.

This is how I see the Universe.

God is whatever brings out the best in you: love for others, pure love yourself and the world.

There is no absolute good or evil, but there is harm and healing, yin and yang, positive light energy and the lack of energy.

On top of the usual yin and yang forces in the universe, there's other stuff that I throw in to my belief system.

electrons are high energy, and low mass (or High kinetic energy, low potential energy)

Protons are high mass, low energy.

Hot and cold are related to the sun, the sun is hot, the lack thereof is cold.

All of existence is built up out of a conflict: The splitting apart of energy or mass, and the reuinfication of energy and mass.
(The sun is both creation and destruction, it makes energy, either by splitting or fusing atoms, and it can preserve or destroy life.)


War, the universe, conflict, is always like the splitting apart and bringing together of mass or energy, or people, at the same time.

I think that all people have multple sides to them: The secretive side, the friendly side, the "at work" personailty.

And all people exhibit energy differently. The people who exert positive energy in all directions tend to be happier, with what they have but also looking to make positive changes around them.

The people who bottle up energy, and keep things below the surface, and not express themselves enough tend to be perceived as tired, depressed, or negative, even though they may just be having a bad day.

The key to happiness is to exert energy, positive energy, in all directions...

Therefore I am sending out thoughts of karma, and love out to all of you. Yes, I know its hippy ish. I wish I could send out money to you all, money for education, and change. :-)

I guess for now we will have to do with placing our currency, our faith, in good thoughts.

once you (Kn1vez) explain to people that living in your reality is a road to happiness, who would choose not to, save those who are not willing to embrace happiness?

according to game theory, specifically the nash equilibrium, there is an equilibrium point in every argument. there is a perfect way to consider everyone's point of view and include it in the outcome of an argument. in short, it is possible to make everything fair and equal. the question is: what about selfish people who are unwilling to accept their half of a compromise? there is another common game in game theory called prisoner's dilemma. type it up on wikipedia to see exactly what it is. for the most part it says that if two people are in an argument and they have all the pertinent information (no one has the advantage) then the best route that both players can take is to cooperate with one another. in fact, it's hard to create a simple game that satisfies a condition where noncooperation is the best move in a series of games (not just one game, but several). looking at life as a series of situations in which simplistic games are played (dominance and submission leads to survival of the fittest, etc) the best move for any player is cooperation. it is hard to accomplish very much without the help of others. dominance and submission doesnt need to exist among humans any more because if we choose to dominate another human via violence, we COULD blow up the entire world. humans hold their fate (and the fate of everything) in their own hands.

ultimately, if everyone were to love each other and live peacefully, there would inevitably be someone who would attempt noncooperation, or at least entertain the possibility of it and eventually manifest it in reality because they thought that they could achieve more for themselves if they took from others. again, it's hard to do anything on your own. imagine trying to do calculus if you had to create every concept on your own, without being told or shown. if people are willing to cooperate with you and help you discover calculus, it would take less time, which it does. we can learn most of newton's achievements in one year of high school. which is my point, why dont people just cooperate? what do you have to gain by trying to prove that your way is better, as long as their way doesnt harm you?

in order for the human race to progress, we must realize that there are three parts to every argument. as humans we are flawed because we do not realize that we are flawed. you cannot learn anything until you accept that you dont already know it. those who think they do know everything (theyve been thinking that they do for a long, long time) are slowing things down.
example:
a hollographic picture hangs on a wall and looks like a frog from the right, a rabbit from the left. in reality, it is a picture of a frog AND a rabbit. however, if you place two people in the room at the right angles, you will always have one person who thinks rabbit, and another who thinks frog. until they accept that they do not know everything they would not move to see the picture in a different light. reality exists beyond perception, and it is our foolishness that has led us to believe otherwise. the reality that you perceive can be completely different than the reality another person perceives. everyone perceives things in their own mind so technically, as long as you are considering something from your own point of view and your reasoning is sound, you are correct. however, if you dont have all of the facts because maybe you didnt see what actually happened, you arent. some people are so firm in believing their own experiences that they try to say they are correct when it is possible that they arent. until you have exhausted every alternate possibility and are absolutely positive that you are correct, you cannot assume that you are correct. most people just dont have all the facts to draw the right conclusions.

what might happen if everyone had the facts?

still, some might choose to ignore them. some might choose to aim their desires at themselves instead of everyone because they see personal gain in it.

regardless of all of this and what it might mean, we are currently killing our planet. we are disrupting the "circle of life" by changing everything around us to whatever we want it to be. cities with paved roads and huge skyscrapers and such exist because humans want them to exist. are we so ignorant to life and the balance that coexists with it that we choose to slowly destroy it?

Thanks ... I believe that we can have advanced technology and still love nature. I belive that it is all part of the yin and yang, that even if man destroyed nature, man cannot escape his own nature.

I also belive that reality exists beyond perception. The reality we have in our own head has to address the reality around us and change what we can for the better. However, people, and society, would rather have the reality in our own head be conformant, passive, and complacent.

Everyone can take action, in some way, to improve, shape, and change their reality, from the tiniest thing in your room to bigger changes for all of us. The irony is that even though the results of major change are staggering, the effort each person has to put in is minimal.

Here, in this vast internet, we do not know if anything we see is real. I assure you, I am real. Not in the sense that I exist, but real in the sense that I am alive, well, and actively want change, whether small or large.

The main conflict in the world is between people who want healthy change and the people who get attached to the same old thing.

Love nature and all the people around you

definitely true about people being able to love technology and nature. its just that we cant manage to realize the possibility of correcting the disruption of yin and yang that we have already created on the planet. no one wants to stop using natural gas because it costs too much money to change to a completely self-sufficient system.

When I look at the world around me, I don't see things such as how we are destroying the enviornment or anything like that. What I see is how we came to be. Every day in my simple life I ponder our existence. I would consider myself agnostic because I believe that like every other living thing on this planet, we are born, we grow, we reproduce, and we die off. That's the general idea of life, to me; however, what I question is the world around us. The lack of communication between one another, the lack of knowledge is what annoys me. Could there be a higher being out there somewhere? Yes, that's a real possibility, but I don't think it would be in the form most people are used to. It might be on a level of consiciousness that we are not aware or one that we are not able to understand just yet. The human mind is so involved and we know so very little of it. Just like we know so very little of space and everything outside of Earth and even the depths of the ocean are of great unknown. In the end, what annoys me is how we are so advanced compared to other species, yet we know so very little about the things that matter, to me at least. That's how I see the world. A rat race that everyone does day by day with their lives and that's it. There is more to life then that and I want to know what it is. I'm not happy with a mediocre job that I would go to every day, with a simple house and boring lifestyle. There is more, but I just haven't found out. Sorry, for my rambling on, but how I see the world is not something I could describe...it's more of a "I want answers" to things that can't be answered because of lack of attention to such matters.

I've spent many hours, days and years pondering the same things. And it's meat for a worthy discussion. Much more interesting than arguing whether the Bible is true or not....
