Motorola V600 - Bluetooth headset Problem.

Hello

i have a v600 and recently the earpiece has stopped working and the only way i can hear people while im in a call is to put it on loudspeaker and gettin calls from mates askin me to hook em up with some weed in front of parents dont go down well. SO, for the time being i got hold of a bluetooth headset but i cannot seem to connect it too my phone... i charged it, and searched for a device on the phone and it finds nothing.

ANYONE KNOW what im doing wrong as its driving me mad.

The bluetooth headset is the original moto one. :thumbsup:

It has to be paired with your phone. . . . ;)

And to do this your goin to need the paperwork

that comes with the headset, cos there all different. . . .

ahhh fuck, can u run me thru the steps if you can remember? im gna need some code or sumink rite? fuckin hassle i hate it!!

don't get me started on this mate. same phone as me and i've had nothin but problems with it. it's supposed to be a video phone but i can't get that workin' except for the daft motorola advert that's on it

the code is most of the time auto set to 0000, thank me later

chekc the format of the vid you trying to play and check its compatible with the codec on your phone i,e if your phone is a mp4 vid player it wont play 3pg 5-% of the time but soem of em have mutiple codecs' thank me later :D

The v600 can only watch videos, the v620 can record/watch. Pointless in a way i know.

And how do i get to the steps to type this code in? please can some genius help me.

ok make sure u have the headsert turned on ...hold the button down for a couple of secs and the little light should turn blue or green. this mean the headset is open to incomeing bt searches you should eb able to see the set come up on your phone you should now be able to pair it via the 0000 code

ive tried holding all the buttons on the handsfree kit...

the phone button (pic of phone on it)
and up and down volume

the only thing the handsfree kit is doing is flashing blue every 2 secs. When i put it on charge it stays blue.

Sorry for answering my own question but...

4. The headset can not be activated after being charged for 20 minutes.
To activate the headset, it needs to charge the battery at least for 40 minutes.
However,it is highly recommended to fully change the batery before use.

ive charged mine for around 10mins if that :P
