Black Lights

I have heard conflicting stories about the use of black lights in grow-rooms,
I've heard that they can make the buds more potent, and I've heard they are no good. So which is it?

I have some new Indica seedlings (at least that is what I was told the seeds were) they just sprouted today. :)

I have been reading the boards here for like a week and would like to thank
all of you for all knowledge you have shared, it sure helps a growing n00b like
me to get started with a minimum number of failures.

Nevermind I was just reading the FAQ on overgrow.com... Black lights are no good for plants, guess I'll just keep useing them with my posters :p

i have some houseplants that seem to love black lights. it would be interesting to see if cannabis grew more potent this way...even if overgrow.com says not to :D

They have the wrong spectrum. Use MH or HPS....
