Tripping off weed

So, I had a lot of expenses and couldn't afford weed for 6 days. On September 2, I finally got to smoke with my friends the night before Labor Day.

We were sitting in my car in a parking lot, and I started to trip. It ended after about an hour, but it made driving slightly more difficult than normal. I figured it was probably because of my lowered tolerance.

But I smoked yesterday and today, and I've had similar experiences. I have been buying off a new person since that night before Labor Day, so my question is, are there certain strains that cause trippy effects? I don't mean Sativa, I know how the head-high feels, but this is much more surreal than normal. The pot's only high-midi's, it's $20 an 8th.

Well, they depend on the amount of THC in the marijuana, along with it's ratio and combination of cannabinoids, they all work together to produce psychotropic effect.

Usually, when a persons tolerance is low enough they will truly percieve the effects of marijuana's interaction with the brain and many things will ocurr other than the usual. Reality can warp and breakdown, and the self can turn into a fractalic moment of repeating time...on marijuana, nothing more.

Although for some people. Because after this first tolerance goes down, people start over-using (as opposed to directly abusing, I guess) and build their tolerance up quickly and then they only feel a residual effect of the marijuana being in their system. I don't like to think of these people as true-marijuana smokers, not because I don't like what they do, but because I don't feel they are properly smoking the marijuana and hence not truly feeling the effects of it.

Usually if a person can withstand and tolerance makes no difference to the effects of the plant on their mind/body/consciousness system, then it is because their system is more "fine-tuned" and will simply detect what's going on better than others.

No relaxation and calming memory loss with a slight appetite increase for these people, they only experience the conscious and emotional and logical, aspects of the effects. There is of course an enormous load on the body, but it's from what the plant is allowing the consciousness to see through the brain, and not just the plant affecting the body. There is an added, "higher" effect, a person percieves much more than before, awareness is extented and it's very easily possible that a person can be "shot off" into space on a marijuana trip, in the similar fashion as a DMT, Psylocybe, LSD, Ketamine, or other "trip", and there are many experiences from many people to support this.

I know that, I usually get that experience. This one was different. I'm wondering what did it, because the THC content wasn't that high, I've had damn good hydro before.

I was wondering if there's a specific strain that is known for that, since I know nothing about the various strains of cannabis.

Hey man I have some weed called hashplant and it makes me trip out pretty good... like getting really paranoid and having auditory hallucinations & shit. It's great weed, but I have to do it at home, or I'd get too freaked. Lots of dark-colored indica strains have this effect, I think, but I'm no expert. Even from a $20 eighth, you're still gonna get a sense of how the strain makes you feel, even if it's not as dank.
