Why certainly. They get quite a good deal larger.
yes they can double somtimes tripple in height depending on strain most call it the "STRETCH"
they can,
but i top my plants a week or 2 before i flower them so all the growth is concentrated on the buds
hi, : )
most plants will double and triple in size during the first 2-4 weeks after they are switched to 12/12. It depends how tall they are when you induce flowering. topping the plant will not slow down it vertical growth, it will make your plant wider and more dense...
in most cases, plants should be forced to flower when they are between 10-20 inches tall... because of the limited penetration of indoor lighting

Garden Knowm, I just put my plants of 12/12 at like 1.5 weeks and they're maybe six inches tall. How big do you think they'll get by the time they're ready to harvest, just under a lot of CFLs?
are your plants clones or from seed
Mine are from seed.Quote:

i didnt really get a solid awnser so emailed the seed company they said that strain (cinnamon) can be flowered that early but reccomend to wait 2-3 weeks
anyway all ima say is that unless your seeds are a early maturing strain then i wouldnt flower yet you need to have around five nodes with secondry nodes comin off those otherwise you wont really get much off em if i were you i would wait another 2 weeks then flower if your tight on space
people generally say you should leave a plant for 4-8 weeks before fllowering as this is when they are mature enough to flower properly
see if you can put up some pics that will help us to see wether you should flower
