Cloning is cake if you have the proper equipment. Just get a tray with a dome and a heating pad. You can clone as early as you want. Of course you will need some branches to do this. How many clones are you looking on taking from the mother? If you are thinking long term, you simply need to veg one plant as the mother and then when it is time to flower, cut all the lower branches off it and use them as clones. Then use one plant from the clones as your mother plant and repeat the cycle.

you want the clones to be at least about 4 weeks old, as the clone is mature as the plant it was taken from but if you are going to veg the clone then age dosent realy matter but if you are going straight into flower you want at least 4 weeks imo.you could flower your plant then revg for clones and keep the plant as a mother i have just done this and it has worked out great.the postman.
