You know as a kid they say if you start smoking pot once you stop you get headaches and puke and all these other symptoms that you can potentially get.
What shit, I use to smoke every day just a bowl or two and a little more on the weekends but quit cold turkey one day, actually a month and a day ago. Yea I hada do it because of a drug test but I quit WAY before I had to even worry about it. Just to see how I would react and to see if weed really had my life on edge.
I dont feel anything, I now even dont really got the urge to smoke again. Yea I wana smoke and eat a Jr. Bacon Cheesburger but who doesnt? And I honestly dont see any difference in my life besides its less boring. Once this test is done and I pass ima laugh at my Probation officer and smoke a fatty.
But yet, pots illegal and ive seen my best friends ( 2 of em ) from 1st grade lives fucked up from Coke and my good friends boyfriend died from a heroin overdose (R.I.P Man)

Yeah, I get excited when I get weed cause it means I will have something to do. Its almost like getting a new video game, and your physced cause you know you'll be up all night playing it (well not anymore, but you know, its a metaphor)
When I don't have weed I don't fiend for it, I just constantly think something like "Dammit I'm bored...would be nice to be high, maybe then all these re-runs wouldn't suck"

That's basically how it is with me. I mean, I have stomach problems (really just gastroenteritis) where I can be extremely, extremely nauseous all day without any desire to eat, and if I do my stomach hurts so bad I just puke up the food, ya know?
And on those days, it's a necessity for me to smoke if I have it, because if I don't, I won't really be able to get through the day because of how bad my stomach hurts, and how sick I feel. The doctors prescribe me all these stomach pills but they don't really help, the only thing that helps is taking a couple hits from a bowl. Even just 2 hits is enough to get me feeling well enough to be able to make it through the day.
But, basically, it's like you said. With cannabis, I know the days are going to be less boring, the music more intense, and the [Adult Swim] re-runs funny again.
I could quit smoking for extended periods of time nowadays, as I've done it before, if it wasn't for my stomach. I don't really mind it, though, haha.

Some people have marijuana withdrawal symptoms, some don't. Just because you don't doesn't mean it doesn't happen. There are many medically proven effects from marijuana withdrawal. I feel most of them when I do not smoke. When I quit I don't eat or sleep for days. I'm pissed off at everyone and everything, and if someone gets in my way it wouldn't be out of the question to beat them to death. I sweat so much I have to change my clothes about every hour.
Consider yourself lucky if you don't feel the same way without weed, but if you think it doesn't happen you're delusional.

No, not usually. I grow it in hydro but my crops usually aren't very big. The stuff I buy is grown outside in the dirt. I don't wake up in cold sweats...I just don't sleep, period, for the first few days. It really sucks.
