I'm running a 400 + 600 hps in my growroom fine on an extension cord then a contactor.
I'm thinking of adding anothger 600 into the equation but fear it will be too much power from a single socket
I cud use teh socket next to wall + have a seperate power supply for the extra 600.
How much extra bud will I get with the extra 600 is 1 k of light enuff to get a decent yeild or do I need more
The 600w should bring you up to at least 300 more grams all things being considers.
And yes, I would go a head and plug it into another outlet that is pulling power from a different breaker.

You want one 20-a breaker per 1000w of usage that your growroom draws.
There is no greater nightmare for a grower than having to call in the fire department, who bring the cops with them... you know how that story ends.
Another 600w should bring u and extra 0.5g to 1g per watt so, something between 300 and 600 grams of extra yield ...
If you can get even a true, honest o.5 g/watt/month I will personally come over there, kiss your green thumb, and call you the God of Cannabis.
0.5g is the ideal. I've never heard of anyone getting more than that. Possibly with CO2 and many years' experience.
