how long will 1/4 keep?

hey im considering buying a quater soon. most of my friends that would smoke w/ me everyday during the summer are back at school. I'm gonna be startin classes soon so ill only be smoking a couple of times a week... so 7 grams will last me a while (A LOT longer than it did in the summer). How long will the weed be good for and hang on to its good quality. what are some of the best ways to store it? i usually just leave it in a sandwhich bag but i need it 2 stay fresher. it may even last me a month or more, but i doubt it bc when i HAVE it.. im GONNA smoke it.. u kno? lol ok so yea how long do u think it will stay good and keep its quality for??

lol, weed doesn't really go bad, seriously don't even worry about that. I've had bud for like 3months before and nothing happened.

what i like to do is get a nug jug, which is a handy glass jar, and then I'll usually drop my bud in there. If the cork is good is should keep it pretty air-tight and I've had stuff in mine for about half a year and it tasted a little better than before.

cool.. ne idea where to get a glass jar thing. one of my friends used to deal w/ those insteada baggies.

you can get these little "locking type" jars at wal-mart for like 2.50-5.00

Id keep it in a mason jar (kindly pictured above). Keep it in a cool, DARK place, and each day open the jar (burp it) for about 20-30 minutes. I dont know about your bud, but most of the stuff around here has only been cured for a week - if at all - so a longer cure really does make it taste better and also increases the potency very, very slightly. If you want, you can add a small piece of lemon/orange/apple etc peel to the jar for a few hours to get the flavour of said fruit. Dont put too big a piece in though, or leave it for too long, or it WILL mold. This also helps for dry bud, because the moisture from the fruit peel will rehydrate the bud.

Dude I found a bag of weed in my tackle box that I forgot about that was well over 3 years old.

That shit was dry as all hell but it still got me baked. I cant see weed ever going bad as long as it is stored in a dry dark somewhat cool place eh?

Yea man dont worry about it. I bought a quarter and was working alot at the time. And went out of town during the said period. It lasted quite a while just make sure the baggie if thats what you use is at least rolled up and sealed good.
