Is it a cutting technique thing done on some branches or something that splits the plant into two colas er something? I have a female that's 83 days old, could I do this to her if it improves yeild.......... im stoned.....:stoned:

lst is to train the plants however you want to maximize the amount of light you have.. and it will also produce many new budsights as you can see in this picture... i topped it and tied down all the new shoots so that they run parralell to the ground, which exposes more budsights to light and then they start getting bigger.. as you can see this is not your textbook pot plant..... hope this helps.. ohh yeah and there is no cuttin involved

Notorois, i have a few questions for you...
I see u are or have grown with CFLs, I just germinated 21 seeds and only plan on keeping the 2 or 3 best lookin ones and growing them with 4 26wt 1700 lumens each in a fairly small cab, are these lights alright? Ill post pics in a second
do you know the kelvin temp of those bulbs? for veg you wanna aim around 6000 or so and for flowering you are gonna want some with a little more red in it like 2700 or 3500 .. on my firs grow i flowered with 2 42 watt 3000 lumen bulbs at 2700 K... and got a decent yeild..now im using 4 of em on one plant.. check out my grow..http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=70383
