favorite psychadelic bands?

king crimson is pretty trippy. would you consider grateful dead or phish psychadelic? if so, then grateful dead and phish as well.

yeah, those two also, i also really like Pink Floyd, (especially Piper at the Gates of Dawn) The Doors, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Incubus, Modest Mouse, and Alice in Chains

Most of the bands already mentioned, like the Dead, Claypool, Primus, add some Frog Brigade & Oysterhead, a little Perpetual Groove, a pinch of Elliot Smith, and I'm set!

And personally, I think Phish is still classified as a jam band over a psychadelic band. The same could probably be said for Claypool and all his projects, but then again, his shit is so weird, let's just throw it under psychadelic's just 'cause. ~
