just been given a couple of joints of water hash, never seen or tried b4,mid brown color,soft,looks very cristally if u try to burn it it just bubbles up,and man the stone is heavy,gotta b the best hash ever,has anyone else tried this?can anyone give me any info on this ? :stoned:
Yeah i've tried ice hash in amsterdam which is the same thing, its great stuff :) But can be very expensive depending on what strain it comes from. Think i paid 20 euro's for a gram of ak-47 ice hash! But it was 2 of the stongest joints i've ever had lol Check out http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/4117.html for info on different hash extraction methods, water hash is down near the bottom.

cheers hud, had a glance at the sites useful info, me m8 i got it from said it was £30 on the 1/8 a lot dearer than bud but the stone is longer so i didnt fink that was to bad, anyway ill have to get a bit bcos it is shit hot,
icehash is great. You can make your own. I recently bought a new grinder, with a pollen catcher. I'm just savnig up for a pollen presser now, and I'll have my own top-grade icehash.

Hey dragon, not to piss on your chips but your confusing pressed hash and ice/water hash, two completely different processes with different results. Check out the cannabis culture article i posted above to explain. If you wanna make ice hash you really need a bubble bag or ice-olater mate, If you want pressed hash you can do that by rubbing the trichs between your fingers, i really wouldn't bother buying anything if your just getting bits outta your grinder. Bubble bags, presses are only really for use with lots of trimmings not arsing about with the 0.2g thats in your grinder!

No, I'm not getting confused. At first, I thought you were right, but then I read some more. You don't need a bubbelator, or an Ice-O-Lator to make bubble hash. Ice hash is just a name for pollen that has been pressed. When it's "ice hash" it undergoes a certain process.Quote:

The difference between pressed pollen/hash and ice/bubble hash is that ice/bubble hash is more refined. Yes, it will be refined better through a bubbelator, but the mesh on my grinder is very very fine. A friend of mine had one, and he had to pass about 3oz of fluffy weed through it, to come out with 1g of pollen, which, when pressed was much smaller than most lumps.
Essentially, they are the same thing, except one is refined more.
Hey look mate i think you've took this a bit personal.
Your right in that you don't need a bubble bag or isolater to make water/ice hash but you do need cold water. (thats where the name comes from, surprise surprise!) The only reason i mentioned them is that you was going on about buying a press to make ice hash.
They're the same thing in that they're both hash but the process is different. Ice/water hash requires ice/water ( wow thats another surprise innit) Pressed hash is pressed together without ice/water, thats the difference mate. I'm not sure what your going on about you say that the difference between them is that ice hash is more refined, which is kinda the point, that it's a strong hash! So how can they be the same if it's not as refined strong and is made differently.
