dark dense moist buds

so i got this stuff from someone i dont usually buy from and the few times before i smoked his stuff i hadnt gotten rly high for a while
so i got his bud and started to break it up and its rly clumpy and moist
its also darker than other bud, like brownish collored
its hard to break it up cuz its like kinda smooshy and moist
not wicked wet but moist
i decided to fuck it and skip breakin it up and just load a bowl of it
i smoked it and it seemed just like regular weed
but i guess since i didnt break it all up the bowl burned forever, like the cherry would go out but i hav a rly pretty small bowl that usually burns for a lil bit but thuis one burned for like 15 minutes
so wut was the difference btewn the 2 weeds? was this one a different strain? is it sumthin about how it was cured?
i got more of a body high from it

by the sounds of it it wasn't cured long enough. if you want to cure it a little more put it in a paper bag for a day or 2

those are bad-cured, pressed buds, perhaps a lil old, but that doesnt mean that its not good weed. Check for mold, if you think its ok then smoke it. I have smoked shitty-lookin weed before. Many wouldnt buy it coz u dont know the origin or if its laced or something. But I think that you are ok.

i smoked it before i posted this, i was just curious as to if it was a different strain or sumthin
after smoking it a second time, i realize that it is much stronger than the weed i usually buy, and another source i have asked says that it could just b rly dank
its a teeny bit moist so i think it burns slower, and more evenly and wastes less weed cuz it doesnt cherry too often
