Gummy Bears and George Bush
I just woke up and was drinking some grapefruit juice, eating some gummy bears when I read this:
Quote:
"Typically, the Bush administration finds its vocabulary someplace in the middle ground of popular culture. It seems to me that they're trying to find something that resonates, without any effort to really define what they mean," Fields said.
So true... :smokin: But isn't that what must all of us do? Find something that resonates without making any effort as to define what it really means.
Please be advised that I am stoned and don't really mean what I say, say what I mean, and I most definitely have NOT made any attempts to find something that resonates withouth any effort to really define what I mean. :smokin:
Gummy Bears and George Bush
I thought you were going to say something like "oh man, i just found a gummy bear that looks like George Dubya(lawl) Bush" or something.
Because i was going to say 'Throw it away, it must be poisonous'
Gummy Bears and George Bush
I try to say things that resonate while defining what I mean when I say them. Bush goes off on how great "freedom" is, but he fails to define what he means by the term and why that definition of freedom needs to be defended. I, on the other hand, can tell you that freedom is the ability to do whatever you want so long as you don't impose on other people's life or liberty, and I can show specifically how Bush has repeatedly violated that definition of freedom (e.g. continuing the War on Drugs and bombing Iraqi children).
