Well, I'm still having issues with that odd wilting thing ... though it seems to be healthy anyway. I cut down my watering quite a bit, and stabilized my lighting schedule. It seems to be working, there's new growth and everything. I think it's a pretty little one. I do hope for a little girl, but even a boy I'd be happy with. Just because I've finally succeeded in getting past a seedling.
Is that pure perlite?
what type of growing medium is that? by the look of the leaves it doesnt look like your nutrients are quite right. for your first grow it would be easiest to do a soil grow. You said you cut down on watering and fixed your lighting schedual thats a step in the right direction consistant lighting is almost a must different hormones are produced by the amount of light the plant is receiving. also from the amount of drooping i see lay off the watering for a couple of days and then start slowly giving it water. good luck with that man ill check back regulary to help you out so post any problems you have :thumbsup:

if that is pure perlite that would explain why you have nutrient deff. a plant can usually sustain itself for a week or so with the nutrients it has stored in its seed but after that its going to need food and pure perlite dose not have what you need so you either need some soil in their or to supply all of the nutes it needs.
And I think that you aren't supposed to use more than 50 percent perlite. Try coco coir or peat with the perlite, and some nice worm castings, like about equal parts of each.
The medium is actually dirt, mixed with pearlite, with a layer of pearlite on the top to reflect light and make it so that watering doesn't disturb the soil. The wilting, I believe, is from past overwatering. I was watering it every day like a fool for a while. I'll definitely take your suggestions into consideration, though! And thanks a lot Sandman, I think you'll be a lot of help.
that will do it, try and water every other day. even though its temping to water it every day weed just cant deal with that much water. Think about in nature it doestn rain every day so over watering just leads to root rot post some more pictures in a couple of days if you can. :smokin:Quote:

Actually I just did that today! I watered yesterday, and I just checked today and it's still damp ... so no water today. :)
By the way what strain of weed is that?
I have absolutely no idea. It came from a bag of mostly shake that I bought a while back. I'm surprised it even sprouted. I almost smoked the poor thing! This is my first real grow, so I didn't want to invest in seeds in the case that I fucked up. Next year, I'll be ordering seeds of strains I want. :)
