Did anyone ever hear tell of this?

A few years ago before I started growing MJ I knew this guy who always took his mj plants into the bathroom with him lol once a day,and turn on the shower with just hot water,once the bathroom completely filled up with warm moist steam he would leave his plants in there for a few hours or long enough to get a good exsposure to the steam! my question is did anyone ever here of this method? is it good for mj plants? and perhaps' what would be the beneifits for the plant if any benefits at all!.............note:his plants grew and looked pretty healthy................thanks'............. new memeber to this forum...........

One more thing he only did this during vegatative stage of the plant!

i guess thats like a primitive form of foliar feeding... they woulda grown even better if he would have simply sprayed them a few times a day with a light nutrient mix :D

The reason I asked was I thought perhaps' he was doing a secret growing method lol but anyhow I got the answer I was asking for! thanks' again!............if anyone else out there heard of this method of steaming plants drop a story or 2 in this forum or a exsplanation..

It seems like that would be a problem unless he did that when it was in the dark period. I cant really see personally how that would help greatly just because all he is essentially doing is making the room really humid, and too much humidity isnt good for the plants. Also the room had to be pretty high in temperature after a while which isnt really the best.
