No, warm white emits one side of the color spectrum and day light and cool emits another.
example warm white = reddish
cool white = blue
also wondering what kind of cfls to get my gf just called me from walmart and asked me what kind i needed did'nt know there was so many kinds lol she just me cool white that are 60 watts are they good?
All you need to do is look at the "K" number. A low number, like 2700k, is warm or reddish, a higher number will mean that the light is whiter or bluer.
And in case you're wondering where they get the k number, it's the color of heated metal. White-hot metal is hotter than reddish-hot metal, hence the higher number.
ahh okay phytokind, thats exactly what i need to know
cuz none of the lights were labeled 'warm cfl'
thanks alot for your help
