Voice problem

I often smoke a little joint before going to sleep but when I do I always have a very rough voice in the morning like when you've been to a party and talking loud all night.

It goes pretty much away after I talk for 5 minutes but I think my mother is starting to figure out what's going on, so instead of me talking to myself for 5 minutes every morning does someone maybe have a trick to make this stop or something?

I know it's a stupid problem but it's really starting to piss me off

..lol same thing happens to me .. anyways try drinking a glass of milk in the morning it should clear up your problem..

lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll try drinking that glass of milk, if that doesn't work I think I'm gonna switch to firecrackers or simply not smoking when I'm at home though.

maybe if you smoked like an hour befor you hit the sack insted of right befor you sleep. but then again that might be what your doing. to be honest i have no idea what im talking about

Its just phlegm gargle some mouthwash for a few minutes. I also found smoking blunts makes this much worse.

It happens because you are probably not drinking or eating anything/enough before you sleep.
Happens to me. Caused by lack of liquids in your throat and such.
I was also afraid my parents might suspect something but I make it seem like a morning voice thing rather.
I'm actually surprised your mom got suspicious. What did she say that made it seem like she almost knew?

Yeah, it looks like drinking something and gargling whit mouthwash helps a lot, just coughing a few times also helps.

My mother just asked what the deal was with my voice and she had this look that told me I'd better find a good excuse. I told her it was because of the lack of sleep from the last couple of days, she bought it but I'd better make sure it doesn't happen again. My parents are very sharp, nothing goes by unnoticed.
They also now I have smoked before so it's not that hard to figure out.

Funny thing is I can grow but I can't smoke... lol
