First time grower set up! Am i on the right path???
Hi there! I am a first time grower from Japan in need of some advice. Before i started, i have researched a lot in books, on the net and stuff, but i really need some one who has the know how to tell me if i am at least close to to what a growing set uo should look like!
It has been a month since my greenhouse seeds germinated, and i am worried they are not growing as they should. These week they really started to develop new leafs and stuff.
So, i will be waiting for a repply from you guys!
Thanks for your time!

Awesome, nice setup.
I'm not 100% convinced that you need those side lights on while they're that size, it must be very hot and humid under there. You would be better off with just the top light, which you have positioned perfectly by the looks of it.
They look a good size, they're not stretched and have good healthy leaves... I predict you'll get enough sticky to get Godzilla on the munchies my friend.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOD

Brilliant!! Well, Very Good!! Like the other poster said, you don't really need the side lighting, it looks like it is just illuminating the sides of the pots. When the plants get a bit bigger tho it would be good as the side light should then hit the side of the foliage. If the temperature is above 20 and below 30 centigrade then thumbsup!

Thanks guys! After those coments, i feel a lot better! About the side lights, i will lowering my pots down a bit tomorrow. I guess i will try shuting them down for a while and see what happens. My biggest worry now is the temperature!!! I cant get it lower than 28-30 degrees guys! the humidity level is around 30-50% all the time. It is summer time here in tokyo for another 4 weeks, after that i can get the temperature around 25 i guess.
Anyway, i will try to upload some pictures whenever i can, so keep the coments coming guys!!!

yeah I would be interested to see how they come along as well. Good for a first grow... They might be a bit small for the age but that could be a heat issue as I had with mine. I know that plants like itaround 70-80 but they will still grow with a higher temp just slower and not as high of a yield... good luck

Hello again! Here are some other pics ive made today. What seens to be the problem with these babes??? As you can see on the pictures, some of the leafs are kind of dry??? burned??? overfeeding???
Besides that, should they be looking like these??? too much new foliage coming out???
Talk to you guys tomorrow!!!

About water, im watering the plants every 2-3 days, and once a week i put a little bit( 1ml per 2 liters of water)of Hyponex all purpose growth mix. Could that be the problem, since i have started with an enriched soil mix???
Ventilation!!! i normally leave the fan on all day long, is it on the right position???

To be honest it looks like your plants are sweating because of high temps, the condensation on the leaves is magnifying the light causing them to boil.

I am finding it hard to diagnose. It isn't serious, YET! Because the leaves are quite chubby they resemble how my earlier grows looked. I had a 22L NFT hydro in a confined space with high temperatures in the 30s. The plants were transpiring lots of water and the grow space was like 70%+ humid. This gave us quite wide fingers on the leaves. Because of your high temperatures outside it might not be possible to reduce your grow room daylight temp to 25C. Bringing down the temp should bring down the humidity, a small closet extractor would be ideal for sending the stale air some place else. See how it goes and keep us posted.
Oh. If you can get your fan pointing on your plants causing the plant to move, this would help strengthen the stalk and branches early on and also move air/oxygen from around the leaves. What is the N-P-K ratio of your nutrients (it should be somewhere on the label)? What is the content of your enriched soil? How big are your pots? How long have they been vegging? When did you start to feed and are you using full dose of nutrient solution according to the guide on the label?
