question about kif/hash....

hypothetically speaking lets say I had the oppurtunity to get some kif. Lets also say I bought a half Oz of kif for $200 and pressed it into hash. Would the total wieght transfer come out the same from kif to hash? Would the value increase because it is pressed to make hash? Would it be a better idea to make into hash and sell than to just sell it as kif, hypothetically speaking,? Thanks to whomever helps me:)

lol sorry i cant help ya, but this thread deserves a response.

i would sell it as it is, good kif is very rare
a good way to smoke it, put a small amount on top of your weed in a pipe/bong
you get a great hit and you wont smoke it so fast :stoned:

Yes, the weight should be around the same, give or take a few points of a gram, which is nothing. The pressed hash will appear smaller, but seeing as that it's crammed into one, it will be the same weight.

It's up to you whether or not you want to increase the price, but in all aspects, you have the right to as in labour and time cost. It will take you some time and energy to press that kif into hash, so yes, you could sell it for more.

Personally, I'd rather buy some nice hash than kif. Hash is ready to go and all in one, nice, little slab of goodness. Kif tends to be powdery and sticks to your fingers like crazy and is not so easy to handle, but hey, it's up to you.

If the kif is good enough and you press it into hash, you could make some nice profit. Good hash can go for $30 a gram, easily.

mmm, thanks for the reply but wouldnt you think hash would have more street appeal? It is very dry for dank in my area and I ran into a lucky connection, he only has kif for the moment from cali and I was hesitant on weather to buy or not for a little profit. Than I thought about pressing it into hash and how most ppl around here probably wouldnt think about trying that and was hoping pressing it would increase value making it worth my time.

Or you could do half and half, but ultimatly, for sale, pressed hash is the way to go.

i live in holland good hash, i mean very good hash is everywhere, kif however i have never seen here, so i know it would go for a high price.
it depends what people in your part of the world would rather have.

if you can make more from the hash then press it.
