Thanks invision for repling, yes the shipping is abit much. I was concerned with the quality. I know the digital ballasts are really good but I am only growing for personal and don't want to spend too much just for the ballasts. I also don't want junk ethier, the price seemed to good to be true. The prices for ballasts at my local garden outlet are outrageous. Its like $289.99 for a 400w hps ballast and socket.

You think that is bad? Up hear in Alaska I paid $1000 for a 1k digetal balast, hood and 2 Hortilux bulbs. I think that my wife wanted to cry, but she is a trooper. Shipping is so much up hear it would have been almost the same amount, except with shipping I would of had to wait for a week or two.
