I was told by a friend of mine that hookahs waste weed, that you will get more through smoking it in a pipe (which is what i usually do).
On the other hand, one of the best highs i've ever had was through a hookah.
What do you guys say? Is it wasteful in a hookah?
I'm pretty sure some THC gets wasted through the water but it should get you pretty much just as high or higher since you can take bigger hits and such. It certainly doesn't waste weed.Quote:

Personally, I don't get much higher off of a hooka unless there is a loooot of weed in it. The reason you get so much higher off of a hooka is most likely because of all the tobacco. I have gotten much higher (though it felt like I was lightheaded- kinda like whippets- N20) from a straight hooka, no weed, than with weed alone. Of course it was pretty much my first time and I was taking monster rips. Ended up with a bad headache...
I wouldn't recommend a hooka if you're just looking to get really high... its more sociable with a hooka, but I think with less of a buzz...
it's only wasteful if you're smoking a multiple person hookah alone
if you have a head for every hose, you're fine
I have not smoked much weed out of hookahs, but it seems to me that it is not the most effective delivery device. I would think that the heat from the cool would pretty much burn out all of the THC within the first few hits. If you're the lucky one who gets to take the first hit, you'll probably get pretty high.
I think it'd be okay if you mixed a little bit of weed with the tobacco towards the bottom of the bowl.
