Election Cancellation Plans: Laying The Groundwork For Martial Law

Alex Jones: More news today about terror and the elections -- this time we're being warned that the elections could be postponed in the event of a terror attack. At the beginning of the month we were warned that they might be cancelled outright. This is not to mention Homeland Security's ongoing fear mongering that a horrible attack is being aimed at the elections.

Across the news wires, the Administration is letting us know that security is being vamped up in fear of a terrible attack. We all know who stands to gain from such a terrible attack. We are being conditioned by this fear to accept the New World Order Police State system the globalists overlords will offer us should they proceed and orchestrate another horrible attack.

Consider this: This fear mongering is even getting attention in the mainstream media. Last week, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that some believe Bush is spreading fear for his own means.

Don't forget, Tommy Franks, in his December 2003 interview with Cigar Aficionado Magazine stated that a: "massive casualty-producing event" might cause "our population to question our own Constitution and begin to militarize our country." Could this really happen? Don't forget the Hegelian Dialectic of problem-reaction-solution has been played out by power-crazy dictators many, many times throughout history (see 9/11: The Road to Tyranny for some examples).
The US News and World Report reported back in May that such an attack would take place before the election and that, unlike Spain (where the aftershock propaganda was misdirected), the people would rally round Bush.

White House officials say they've got a "working premise" about terrorism and the presidential election: It's going to happen.

"We assume," says a top administration official, "an attack will happen leading up to the election." And, he added, "it will happen here."

There are two worst-case scenarios, the official says. The first posits an attack on Washington, possibly the Capitol, which was believed to be the target of the 9/11 jet that crashed in Pennsylvania. Theory 2: smaller but more frequent attacks in Washington and other major cities leading up to the election.

To prepare, the administration has been holding secret antiterrorism drills to make sure top officials know what to do. "There was a sense," says one official involved in the drills, "of mass confusion on 9/11. Now we have a sense of order."

Unclear is the political impact, though most Bushies think the nation would rally around the president. "I can tell you one thing," adds the official sternly, "we won't be like Spain," which tossed its government days after the Madrid train bombings.

I hope and pray,that we won't be attacked again and that we will be able to foil whatever plots are being planned against the American people-be they the plans from terrorist,liberals or even from the Right. However,I still believe,that the folks on the Right,are loyal Americans and the folks on the Left,are predisposed to commit treason and sedition,as liberals routinely use all means to justify the ends..it's simply a function of the liberal mind-set. In the past weeks,there's been a rising tide of violence against the Right,there's been property destruction,both against homes and cars,against republican headquarters -both shootings and fire-bombings. There may be a greater danger from liberals disrupting voting centers,than from terrorists. Union thugs,routinely assault folks all the time at liberal events and other events,they pose as security guards as a matter of routine and are probably behind alot of the private and public,property destruction.

It's a pretty much well known fact,that if ya have a Bush sticker on yer car in liberal country,that your car will be trashed. If ya have a Bush sign in your yard,at the very least,it will be stolen or destroyed,or your home will be shot at,fire-bombed,swastika's painted on your house,etc.

Nobody ever accused the Left of being smart-it's pretty dumb,to attack those who most strongly believe in being armed...let's hope,that it doesn't go that far.

Tucson-based Raytheon Missile Systems is about to deliver a nonlethal weapon system to the U.S. military that can disable enemy soldiers or hostile crowds with a painful beam of electromagnetic energy, a company official said Wednesday at an optics forum.

Raytheon also is on track to demonstrate an initial version of a high-energy laser weapon by year's end, said Wade Smith, deputy director of Raytheon's Directed Energy Weapons program.

After more than three years in development, Raytheon will meet a May deadline to deliver its "active denial technology" to the Air Force Research Laboratory for testing, Smith said at the inaugural Photon Forum 2004, an optics conference held Tuesday and Wednesday at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.

The Air Force lab's Directed Energy Directorate handles the Department of Defense's laser and other directed-energy technologies.

The system, which will be mounted on a military vehicle, inflicts no permanent damage on humans, but temporarily inflicts a disabling, burning pain over the whole body by triggering heat receptors in the skin.

"This is an effect that literally gets under your skin," said Smith, who has voluntarily felt the "intolerable pain" of the beam during testing.

"I can assure you, once you come in contact with the beam, you will be inclined to stop whatever you are doing," he said.

The active-denial system uses so-called "millimeter waves" of electromagnetic energy to penetrate about one-64th of an inch into the skin.

The nonlethal system could be used to control crowds or to disable enemy soldiers, Smith said.

Raytheon's system will likely be tested by the military through midsummer at a test range in China Lake, Calif., Smith said.

Another so-called "directed energy weapon" system being developed by Raytheon in Tucson is the demonstration of a high-energy, solid-state laser that could be used to shoot down enemy planes and missiles or attack ground targets.

The highest-powered lasers currently being used are large systems that amplify light using chemical reactions. The military is seeking to develop equally powerful, solid-state, electrical lasers small enough to be mounted on planes, ships and ground vehicles.

Raytheon is in the final phase of a contract awarded in late 2002 by the Air Force Research Laboratory to produce a 25-kilowatt solid-state laser to demonstrate the weapon concept, and the company is on schedule to deliver the laser by year's end, Smith said.

Ultimately, the military wants to produce weapons-grade solid-state lasers rated at 100 kilowatts or more.

But because of challenges in developing small power sources and accurately controlling such beams, deployment of such solid-state laser weapon systems in the field is likely 10 to 15 years away, Smith said.

Raytheon has relied on local optics companies as subcontractors for the directed-energy programs and other systems, he said. In 2003, Raytheon awarded more than $68 million in contracts to Arizona firms, with more than half of that going to Tucson-area companies, he said.
