Question/Reassurance

What's up all...been reading up on the boards and have to say you have some great info...

Here's my situation..

Been toking 10+ years, but not heavily. A Midnight toker you might say. 5'11, 185-190, fairly fast metabloism.

I was informed that I needed to take a piss test on Friday, Aug 11 (to be scheduled later, which ended up being this morning). My last hit was Thursday night and I started drinking tons of water.

I bought the Test Pure Magnum and took it this morning at 9:45. I followed the directions to a tee (other than having had a few beers last night).

I had taken 4 home tests prior and passed them all. I took the Test Pure, pissed 2x, then took another home test before I left for LapCor, which I passed (the home test that is)

Problem is, when I got home, I took the last of my home tests and it looks positive. Only thing I can think of is that I had a couple cigs after the lab test and maybe that mixed with the test pure in a bad way.

For those that don't know, test pure is basically a masking agent with a crap load of vitamin B and some other vitamins.

So I figure the fact that I went in 5 for 5 on home tests and most importantly passed the one an hour or so before the lab test would make it likely that I pass the lab test, but this last home test is freaking me out. I already gave my 2 weeks to my prev employer and was let go immediately because the job I'm taking is with the competition, so if I fail this I'm up shit creek w/out a paddle.


If anyone can weigh in with an opinion...on the chances and and/or any knowledge about test pure and cigs...would be much appreciated

And also, if anyone is familiar with LabCor and knows how long the wait will be I'd appreciate it. Will they call me if I fail or will the potential employer call?

I figure no call by Friday and I'm looking Ok...let me know:confused:

Stressing like nobody's business.

My girl came home and sees a thin line on the home test which my paranoia may have missed.

Just keep hoping that, based on the fact that I passed a home test 1 hour before the real test, I'm cool.

I was given a relocation allowance, so that gives me an excellent excuse to call my employer Friday or Monday to verify the test is Ok by asking how and when I'll recieve the cash. My guess is that they don't send that until the test has passed, so by asking when I can expect it, they'll let me know everythinh is Ok by sending it.


I wouldn't wish this stress on my worst enemy ...

Update for anyone that cares:

Had my girl smoke a bowl and take the same home test I did and definetely noticed a faint line on mine in comparison to hers...not to mention a verticle line on mine which would indicate a somewhat false analysis since she had none

I took Strip from Gnc, 5 hours before the test, LabPro. Passed. They tell what test they give you. I used home test and passed but it was diluted. Normal reading. they will give you a negative but diluted test. Depends on the employer. if that's good enough.. technically negative diluted is pass

Well, took the test at noon pacific time Tuesday and no word (2:30 pacific time Friday now). Is that enough time to feel safe?

Has anyone here failed or know anyone that has failed? If so, how long until you/they were notified?

I took my test at LabCorp and it takes 2 days for them to get the results. My new employer looked on their website for the results, name and password thing. My results were Negative-dilute and it was the discresion of the employer if they wanted to have me retest. I didn't have to retest thankfully.

I drank a shitload of water and gatorade and doubled up on my one a day vitamin, also took 2 vitamin b-12. Still came up diluted.

LabCorp did not call me with my results.

I think if you haven't gotten a phonecall from your future employer then that should be a good thing. Give em a call just to confirm you are all set to start in 2 weeks.
