Useless Plants?

My neighbor has 3 plants growing outdoor that are probably 3 feet high now and still look mostly like stalks (its hard for me to get close) one of my friends noticed it was 5 leafed and said that meant it was male for sure. I think it only has been growing for a couple weeks. Is the 5 leaf thing a sure determinant? Also are 3 outdoor plants worth doing anything with? He told me I could have them when they were done growing. Sorry for the stupid question, I am just hoping I can get high off them somehow. Oh they look very green and healthy btw.

It has just been growing outside pretty freely, he pinches it he says and waters it and stuff, but do you think it will be any good? If it is male can I use it at all?

if its male then no, if it isnt then i dont see any reason why it wouldnt be good..

its one of them is a female plant and it completes it grow cycle then it would be usable but you would have to learn how to dry and cure it first before you can actually smoke it

wait till it shows sex and kill the males or theyll pollunate the females

just uproot em and throw them in the trash?
