is urine supposed to be frozen if i'm substituting?
alright... so my school randomly tests me and my plan is to keep a bottle of piss that will be fresh as of every night in my backpack in case i get called in. if i do get called in, i already have it figured out to how i can get the temperature up in time and all that stuff, so im not worried about that. but i do have ONE concern:
--i'm going to have a clean friend pee for me every night so i can bring it to school the next day. now, i've been told that it's detectable how old urine is... so somebody said i had to freeze it to prevent bacteria. is this true? are they able to tell if i have frozen the pee?
any help would be appreciated. thanks

Frozen urine can last 1-2 years. Urine at room temp. can last 3-4 days before developing bacteria that can compramize the sample. Of course there are always things that can be taken into consideration; exposure to light, exposure to air, validity of the test ect. but the 3-4 days thing is safe.

Actually, I wouldn't go much further than 1 year on frozen urine. At room temperature, urine begans to break down after about 8 hours and produces several chemical by products which can be detected. I don't recommend storing urine at room temperature for 3-4 days. I read someone kept it in a dark place for a couple of weeks for his PO test. If that piss test was a stick test that might fly but if it is sent to a lab, do not keep the urine at room temp. Urine can be stored for about 2 weeks in a refrigerator.
